1Who we are
Mindalike is a creation network for solo builders and small teams who work with agents.
Mindalike Technologies Private Limited, a company registered in India, runs Mindalike. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean this company. “You” means the person who uses Mindalike.
When you sign in to Mindalike or use it, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy says how we use your personal data. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use Mindalike.
2Who can use Mindalike
- You must be 18 or older.
- You must be able to make a legal contract in your country.
- If you use Mindalike for a company or another organization, you confirm that you can accept these terms for it. The terms then apply to it too.
3The beta and the waitlist
Mindalike is in a limited beta. Some features are not complete, and some are not open yet.
When you sign in for the first time, we make your account and put it on the waitlist.
An account on the waitlist cannot use the apps yet. We give access to small groups of people, and we decide when. We tell you by email when your access is ready. We do not promise that you get access, or when.
Your access is personal. Do not share it, sell it or give it to another person.
4Your account
In the beta, you sign in with a Google account or a GitHub account. Mindalike does not ask you for a password.
Google or GitHub gives us your email address, your name and your profile picture. The Privacy Policy says what we do with them.
- Keep your Google or GitHub account safe. You are responsible for what happens through your Mindalike account, unless it happens because of our fault.
- Tell us at once if you think that another person uses your account.
- Do not make an account in the name of another person.
5Acceptable use
Do not use Mindalike to do these things, and do not let your agents do them:
- break the law, or help another person break it;
- harass, threaten, bully or abuse a person;
- attack or insult people because of their religion, caste, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation or disability;
- pretend to be another person or organization, or hide where a message comes from in order to deceive;
- share information that you know is false, to mislead or to harm a person;
- share obscene content, or sexual content with a person who did not ask for it;
- share intimate images of a person without their consent;
- share any sexual content that involves a minor, or content that harms children;
- share the private information of another person without their permission;
- share content that you do not have the right to share, or that infringes a copyright, a trademark, a patent or another right of a person;
- send spam, or bulk messages that people did not ask for;
- collect data about other members without their permission, for example by scraping;
- help fraud, money laundering or illegal gambling;
- threaten the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, or public order, or encourage a crime;
- attack, probe or overload Mindalike, or go around its security, its limits or the waitlist;
- copy, decompile or reverse engineer Mindalike, except where the law lets you;
- make or spread malware.
We can remove content that breaks these rules, or that a court or a government authority tells us to remove. We can also limit or close the account that shared it.
6Your content and the output of agents
“Your content” is what you put into Mindalike and what you make in it. It includes your prompts, files, Canvases and artifacts, and the output that agents make for you.
You keep the rights that you have in your content. We do not claim to own it.
To run Mindalike, we need some rights to your content. You give us a licence to store, copy, process, show and send your content. The licence is worldwide, free of charge and not exclusive. We use it only to run Mindalike, to keep it secure, and to give you the features that you use. It also lets us show your content to the people that you share it with. The companies that process data for us can use the licence too, only to do this work for us.
When you delete content, the licence for that content ends. Copies can stay in restore points and logs for a limited time.
To make output, agents send parts of your content to companies that run AI models. The Privacy Policy names them.
- Output from an AI model can be wrong or incomplete. It can also be like output that other people get.
- Check output before you use it or share it. You are responsible for how you use it.
- You confirm that you have the rights to the content that you put into Mindalike.
If you send us ideas or feedback, we can use them freely. We do not owe you anything for them.
7Matching and other people
Mindalike helps you find people to work with. Some of these features are not open yet. These rules apply when they open.
- Talk first. A match starts a conversation. The other person gets no access to your Canvas until you invite them.
- Invites have a scope. An invite gives access only to the artifacts and the level of access that you pick.
- Respect the access that you get. Use the work of another person only within the access that they gave you. Do not copy it or share it outside Mindalike without their permission.
- Be respectful. Do not push people to share personal information, money or private work.
- Report and block. When these tools open, use them if a person breaks these terms. Until then, write to team@mind-alike.com. We review reports. We can warn a person, or limit or close their account.
We do not check the identity of the people that you meet. Take care before you share personal information, money or private work.
Agreements that you make with other members are between you and them. We are not a party to them.
8Availability during the beta
We provide the beta “as is” and “as available”.
- We do not promise that Mindalike always works or works without errors. There is no service level.
- We can change, pause or remove features at any time. We can also end the beta.
- We can limit or end your access. When we can, we tell you first and give you time to save your work.
Keep your own copies of important work.
9Fees
The beta charges nothing.
If we add prices later, we tell you before you pay anything. You can then choose to pay or to stop. We do not charge you later for what you used in the free beta.
10Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties about Mindalike. For example, we do not promise that it is fit for your purpose, that its output is accurate, or that it does not infringe the rights of other people.
Nothing in Mindalike, including the output of agents, is legal, financial, medical or other professional advice.
We are not responsible for content from other members or from services that other companies run.
Some laws do not allow these limits. Then the limits apply only as far as that law allows.
11Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. This includes lost profit, lost revenue, lost data, lost business and lost goodwill.
- Our total liability to you, for all claims about these terms or about Mindalike, is limited to the higher of two amounts: the fees that you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim, or ₹5,000 (five thousand Indian rupees). The beta charges nothing, so during the beta the limit is ₹5,000.
These limits apply to every kind of claim: in contract, in tort (including negligence), for breach of a duty under a statute, or otherwise.
These limits do not apply to our liability for:
- fraud;
- wilful misconduct;
- death or personal injury that our negligence causes;
- anything else that the law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, does not let us limit or exclude.
If you break these terms or the law, and another person makes a claim against us because of it, you pay our reasonable losses and costs from that claim, including reasonable legal fees. This does not apply to the part of the loss that we caused. We tell you about such a claim promptly.
12Suspension and termination
You can stop using Mindalike at any time. To delete your account, write to team@mind-alike.com. The Privacy Policy says what happens to your data.
We can suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if the law tells us to, or to protect other people or Mindalike. We tell you why, unless the law or a safety risk stops us. If you think that we made a mistake, write to us and we review the decision.
When your account closes, your right to use Mindalike ends. Some parts of these terms continue to apply, for example the disclaimers, the limits of liability and the section on governing law and disputes.
13Governing law and disputes
The laws of India govern these terms, and any dispute about them or about Mindalike.
Write to us first. If you have a dispute with us, write to team@mind-alike.com. Say what the problem is and what you want us to do. You and we then try in good faith to solve it by email, within 30 days after we get your email.
Then the courts. If the dispute is not solved in those 30 days, either of us can take it to court. The courts that have jurisdiction over the place of the registered office of Mindalike Technologies Private Limited have exclusive jurisdiction.
Either of us can ask a court for urgent relief at any time, also during the 30 days.
Your rights as a consumer. This section does not limit the rights that a consumer law gives you. For example, if the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 lets you complain to a Consumer Commission where you live or work, you can still do so.
If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you keep the protection of the laws of your country that a contract cannot remove. You can also take a dispute to the courts where you live.
14Changes to these terms
We can change these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the last change.
We tell you a reasonable time before an important change takes effect, in the app or by email. A change that the law requires, or that fixes a security problem, can take effect at once.
If you use Mindalike after a change takes effect, you agree to the new terms. If you do not agree, stop using Mindalike and ask us to delete your account.
A change does not apply to a dispute that started before the change.
15General
- These terms are the full agreement between you and us about Mindalike. The Privacy Policy says how we handle your personal data.
- If a court finds a part of these terms invalid, that part applies as far as the law allows. The other parts still apply.
- If we do not enforce a right at once, we do not lose it.
- You cannot transfer these terms to another person without our consent. We can transfer them to a company that takes over Mindalike. We tell you if we do this, and your rights under these terms stay the same.
- We are not responsible for a delay or a failure that events outside our reasonable control cause, for example a natural disaster, a failure of the internet or of a provider that we use, or an order of a government.
